As many of you may know, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) that has operated at a high level in Portales since its inception is in need of a new and permanent location and its operation has been suspended until that time. A meeting to explore the options will be held next week at the Chamber with Kathy Shafer, President of the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico and others organizing the effort to restart the program.
