Memorial services for Elizabeth Cunningham, 71, of Portales will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the Portales Church of the Nazarene.
Elizabeth Lynn Cunningham was born Sept. 3, 1948 in Wichita, KS to the home of Elma (Thorn) and Stanley McCary, and died early on the morning of Aug. 16, 2020 in Portales, NM. In Dodge City, KS in 1973, she was married to Wilbur Cunningham. Following his death, she moved to Portales in 2000. While living in Kansas, she was employed for some time at a stock yard, doing whatever needed to be accomplished. She is a member of the Portales Nazarene Church.
She is survived by two sons, Isaac Cunningham of Crescent, CA and Wilbur Cunningham of Dodge City, KS; four daughters, Carried Cunningham of Albuquerque, and Rachel Cunningham, Edith Cunningham and Brett Diaz all of Portales; five grandchildren, Adriana, Shianne and Mary Diaz, and Patrick and Isaac Cunningham; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James McCary as well as by her husband.
