Elisa Aleman September 24, 1973 ~ July 26, 2023 (age 49)

The Rosary for Elisa Aleman, 49, of Portales, will be recited at 9:00 AM, Fri., Aug. 4, 2021 at St. Helen Catholic Church.  Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM with Fr. Francisco Carbajal officiating.  Socorro Aleman, Julian Aleman, Ivan Aleman, Brayn Flores, Ariel Flores and Uriel Flores will serve as pallbearers.

Elisa Aleman was born Sept. 24, 1972 in Delicias, Mexico to the home of Lucrercia (Garcia) and Julian Aleman, and died at her home in Portales on the evening of July 26, 2023.  Her home remained in Mexico until the early 1990’s when she came to the United States.   She was a wife and devoted mother and grandmother.  Family was very important to her, and she always made herself available to any of them who needed her.  For enjoyment she liked to dance

She is survived by her sons, Brayn Flores and his companion, Alexa Varette of Roswell, NM, Ariel Flores Aleman of Roswell, NM and Uriel Flores Aleman of Lubbock, TX; a daughter, Monika Flores Aleman and her companion, Johnny Garcia of Clovis, NM; six grandchildren; her mother, Lucercia Aleman of Johnstown, CO; her brothers, Socorro Aleman of Colorado Springs, CO, Julian Aleman of Pueblo, CO, Francisco Aleman of La Junta, CO, Jesus Aleman of Milliken, CO, Saul Aleman of Rocky Ford, CO, Luis Aleman of Johnstown, CO, Guerreo Alleman of Johnstown, CO and Samuel Aleman of Johnstown, CO; and her sisters, Esther Aleman of Milliken, CO, Rosa Bautista of Johnstown, CO and Hermelinda Cardenas of Johnstown, CO.  She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Aleman and by her husband, Aurelio Flores.
