The Elida Tigers have started their 2019-2020 basketball season on Dec. 3 against Grady/San Jon/House. The Tigers hosted the game, that proved to be a tough one for both teams. At the end, Elida came out on top by a narrow margin. The final score was 59-54, giving the Tigers their first win of the season.
On Dec. 5, the Tigers joined in the Dora JP Stone Community Bank Tournament and their first opponent was Portales JV. Elida won that game as well, with a final score of 51-44. The tigers are now 2-0 this season.
