Both the Elida Tigers and Lady Tigers hosted Clayton on December 20th for basketball back to back games. The Lady Tigers played first, and struggled early on in the game. By half, Clayton was leading Elida 36-13. The 2nd half didn’t fair much better for the Lady Tigers, and the game ended with another loss for them. Clayton won with a score of 68-28, adding yet another loss to the Lady Tiger record for the season, which is now 1-7.
The boys game ended slightly differently though. After a tough loss for the girls, the boys went in looking for redemption for the Lady Tigers. Redemption is what they gained too. The Tigers defeated Clayton 89-65, adding a win to their record. The Tigers are now 8-1 this season.
