The Elida Tigers hosted Hondo Valley on November 1 for a state playoff game and sealed their win with a dominating score of 55-14. The Tigers have been undefeated this season, with huge scores over their opponents. This playoff game was no different, and since they’ve been ranked #1 in their class all season, it’s no surprise. Elida finished the regular season off with the district championship title, an undefeated record of 9-0 and 3-0 in district. They will face Springer/Maxwell on November 9 at 1 pm for the state championship in Elida.
