Elida Tigers went into the NMAA State Championship bracket ranked 2nd in 6-man football. After competing and beating Carrizozo by only a mere 5 points, the Tigers advance to the state final game against Animas. The game will be held at Animas High School on Saturday, November 10 at 1pm.
Animas and Elida have been competing at 1st and 2nd place rankings all season, and it should be a state championship game for the books. Animas is 9-0 this season, and Elida is 9-1.
