The Elida Girls traveled to Cimarron to face the Cimarron Lady Rams in a round 1 State matchup. The 2 were ranked evenly in the bracket, with Cimarron at seed 8 and Elida at seed 9, but ultimately, Cimarron finished the game with a win over the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers had a hard time with their opponent, and lost 66-40. The loss knocked them out of the Class 1A State tournament, and ended their season with a record of 15-9 and 8-2 in district.
