The Elida Tigers have been undefeated so far this season. With win after win, they have continued dominating their class in NMAA. The hope was that they continued their streak of wins as they faced Tohatchi at home on Dec. 19. From the beginning of the game however, Tohatchi proved to be a tough opponent for the Tigers who were behind 46-29 at halftime.
With a near 20 point deficit, the Tigers had a tough 2nd half ahead of them. Elida’s defense held Tohatchi from scoring as many points in the 3rd and 4th as they did in the 1st half, but unfortunately the Tiger’s couldn’t turn the game around. After trailing the whole game, Elida lost to Tohatchi with a score of 76-56. The Tigers accepted their first loss this season and are now 7-1.
