The Dora Boys and Girls both faced Clovis Christian School on Saturday, April 17, 2021. The girls game was first, and tip off was at 4 PM.

By the end of the first period, the Lady Coyotes were down by 18-9. The 2nd period was even more of a struggle for Dora, and the girls were down 33-14 at half.

By the end of the game, Clovis Christian had taken a dominating lead, and the Lady Coyotes lost 65-29. They are now 1-3 this season.

The boys’ game began at 5:30 PM. The beginning of the game faired a bit differently for the Coyotes, and after the first period, they were only down 16-14. The 2nd period was a different story though. At halftime, Clovis Christian had taken a big lead, leaving the Coyotes a tough deficit to overcome. The score at half was 35-22.

In the 3rd, the Coyotes fought hard to overcome the deficit but were outscored 17-12. By the end of the game, Dora was unable to overcome the early deficit, and lost 69-48. The boys are now 2-4 this season.

The boys’ next game is on April 20 at 5 PM against Floyd on the road. The girls play in Hagerman on April 20 at 5:30 PM.
