The City Convenience Center will be closed for mandatory training from 8am to 1 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 and then again from 9am to 12pm on January 9, 2020.
The Convenience Center is located at the corner of Kaywood and Avon Streets. City and County residents are encouraged to dispose of large and small trash items at the center.
Customers will be asked to sign in with their name and address by the attendant on duty.
City residents must bring a current city bill showing garbage service to use the center free of charge for the disposal of residential trash.
All commercial, county residents, and those not paying for garbage services are charged tipping fees.
The center attendant will direct the customer to the appropriate area for unloading.
Brush and metal are both recycled.
Mulch located at the Center is free to the public.
