Portales, NM – The City of Portales is pleased to announce that the necessary funding has been secured for the purchase of new dumpsters, with delivery expected within the next 8-12 weeks.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and her office for their support in allocating the funds required for this important initiative. Governor Lujan Grisham’s recognition of the challenges facing Portales and her commitment to addressing these needs is a testament to her dedication to the continued progress and well• being of our community.
We also wish to express our gratitude to Secretary Ricky Serna and the New Mexico Department of Transportation (DOT) for their contribution to this project. The DOT’s ongoing partnership and investment in Portales highlight their shared commitment to improving infrastructure and quality of life for our residents.
This new addition of dumpsters will help enhance waste management services, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment for our community.
