Good Afternoon,

I am reaching out to people in your area in the hope of finding host families for several International Exchange students coming to our area in August for the 2019/20 school year! If you are not able to host a student yourself, I am asking would you please share this letter and opportunity with your family and friends.
These amazing young people are between the ages of 15-18 and have the appropriate visa, medical insurance, and their own spending money. Many students are excited about coming to the US for one year of high school and are anxiously waiting to hear about their host family. ­

Host families come in all shapes and sizes; retired, older children and younger children, single parents. Host families live in apartments and houses and students can share a room with someone of the same sex within 4 years of age. A person can choose to host for 1 semester (5 months), the school year (10 months) or even as a welcome family for about 4 to 8 weeks.
I have posted some brief profiles below. We have more detailed information on each student and many additional students waiting to hear about their American families. If there is a certain type of student you think would be a great match for your family, please let me know which student you would like to read more about.

Dear host family,
I would like to introduce myself. I’m 16 years old and live in Munich, Germany. I have one younger brother(14 years old) and two dogs. My parents don’t live together, during the week I live with my mother and on weekends with my father. It’s difficult for me to describe myself. But I will try. I would describe myself as humorous, confident and I’m very easy to get along with. I’m a big fan of American Football as well playing as watching.(My favorite team are the Chargers). And I really enjoy being out in nature for example sometimes we go hiking in the mountains. In school I’m interested in politics and history. Other subjects I like are English and geography. I’m looking forward to meet you.
