CANYON, TEXAS — For much of the second half of Wednesday’s Lone Star Conference match, West Texas A&M (6-6-5; LSC 4-3-4) maintained a 1-0 lead over the Eastern New Mexico University women’s soccer team (3-8-6; LSC 2-5-4). With 2:36 remaining in regulation, sophomore defender Kenya Brooke picked an opportune time to tally the first goal of her career, which lifted the Greyhounds to a 1-1 double-overtime tie at The Pitch.
