The Eastern New Mexico baseball program has announced that they will be hosting their annual Halloween game on Oct. 31 at 5:45 p.m. at the ENMU Baseball Complex.
The event will be the final stop for the City of Portales Downtown Safe Trick or Treat and will showcase the Greyhound baseball team taking part in a game dressed up in their favorite Halloween costumes. Fans will get a sneak peak of the 2019 ENMU baseball squad in a light-hearted environment that will include t-shirt and prize giveaways for the whole family. Trick or treaters will also have the chance to run the bases following the game.
Coach David Gomez and his team will also be selecting a “best costume” award winner for the fans and will have plenty of candy on site for giveaway. The voice of the Greyhounds Donald “Doc” Elder will be serving as the PA announcer for the event on a night that is sure to provide entertainment for all.
