PORTALES, NM — Adam Pitterman, ENMU Director of Athletic Communications, recently announced his plans to leave ENMU this summer and head back to his home in upstate New York.

Adam has spent the past 12 years as part of the Greyhound family as the Director of Athletic Communications. He has been a valuable member of the Greyhound team as he has helped to lead the department through several changes in the Lone Star Conference, including several realignment challenges. Through it all, Adam has been a valuable member of the team and a loyal member of the ENMU family. Adam plans to pursue a second master’s degree at Niagara University this fall.

Dr. Waggoner, ENMU Athletic Director, would like to thank Adam for his service to ENMU. Dr. Waggoner said, “In the two years I have had the pleasure to work with Adam, he has demonstrated unique qualities and dedication to the Greyhound family that will surely be missed and difficult to replace. This year, Adam carried extra loads and was especially helpful in creating a smooth operation last November when ESPN the APP broadcasted the football game between ENMU and Midwestern State as the ESPN APP Game of the Week. We wish Adam the best in his pursuit of his new endeavors.”

Pitterman wanted to share, “I just can’t say enough about my time at Eastern. For one of the smallest schools in a huge conference, what the staff does here is unbelievable. I have worked at the Division I, II, II, and NJCAA levels and have rarely seen such synergy where a group goes so far and above what is expected of them. I am so proud of the staff and people that have passed through here during my 12 years. This group understands that everything they do is for each and every student that enrolls at ENMU. Although it is hard to leave, I am excited for what is still to come at Eastern, as I am confident that the incoming staff and remaining people will continue the trend of growth I have been proud to witness. I know my experience and everything I’ve learned from the staff at Eastern will help me with everything I look to do in the future. Thank you so much to everyone I had the opportunity to work with and for.”

A full acknowledgement of Adam and his contributions to ENMU will be forthcoming.
