In what has become a summer tradition at public libraries across the region, singer-songwriter
Andy Mason will be returning to New Mexico for his 20th year of performing family-friendly
concerts.

The 20th anniversary tour begins on June 1 in Albuquerque, and includes stops in
Portales, Clovis, Ruidoso, Alamogordo, Cannon AFB, Silver City, Bayard, Tucumcari, Eunice,
Artesia, Hobbs, Carlsbad, Roswell, Fort Sumner, and Lovington before he heads to Texas,
Wyoming, and Idaho.

Since his first concert at the Portales Public Library in 2005, Mason has performed thousands
of concerts all over the world, playing summer reading programs in such far-flung places as
Australia, New Zealand, and Alaska.

“A typical summer for me is about 60 concerts in New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, and Idaho,”
Mason said. “In 2005, I played in eight libraries,” he said. “In 2006, it was 19. In 2007, it was 35. In 2008, it
was 50, and in 2009 I reached a peak of 75 concerts”.
Mason’s family-friendly music has virtually traveled the world as well, with more than 200
million streams in over 100 countries.

“It’s been such a blessing to be able to share my music with so many people, and to do what I
love for a living,” Mason said. “I’m very grateful”.

Mason’s complete schedule is available on Facebook at Andy Mason Music. His music is
available on Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, iTunes, and Pandora.

Mason also has three self-published books based on his songs. They are available for
purchase on Amazon, and at his summer tour stops while supplies last
