Anatalia C Garcia (Nati) was born July 21, 1956 in Pecos Texas to Manuel and Esperanza Garcia. Nati was raised in Pecos along with her siblings as they worked the surrounding farm lands of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. In her teenage years, the family later moved to Portales where she spent most of her life. Nati went to cosmetology school when she bravely had her first wonderful son named Abel. Shortly after, Nati met her life partner Crespin Ornelas, SR and later had two wonderful girls in Portales. She loved Abel, Christy, and Teresa with her whole heart. A huge smile would light up her face when she talked about them and how proud she was of her three children. Her grandchildren Trinity (went to be with Jesus in 2006), Hannah, India, Angel, and Jose were without a doubt her pride and joy. Her heart was full when she was playing with them.
Nati was without a doubt a hard worker, carried a heart of gold, and placed footprints in the hearts of many people. Nati had a contagious laugh that would fill an entire room. She enjoyed watching America’s Got Talent, American Idol, The Voice, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, & Chicago Fire & many other shows.. She loved to watch TV with her daughters and grandbabies. Her favorite moments to watch on TV was when she felt so heartfelt and gave her chills and teared up. Nati had many moments that took her breath away. Her daughters loved to watch her in her natural joyful spirit. She loved sitting outside for hours just to watch the sunsets and favored her solar lights she had put out on display. She enjoyed travelling with Crespin when he was hauling milk from coast to coast. Nati was able to visit Santuario with Teresa last year for the first time and was mesmerized by the beauty of the entire sanctuary and felt peace. Her earthly life was full of happiness and she loved and was loved. Our Nati Garcia was called to her forever home to be with Jesus the early morning hours of September 19, 2020 in Muleshoe TX.
She left behind but patiently waiting in heaven for is one amazing son Abel M Garcia & his wife LaTrisha Garcia; resides in Clovis NM. Two beautiful daughters; Christy F Garcia & her husband Lorenzo Mendiola; reside in Muleshoe, TX. Marie Teresa Garcia & Fiance Kendall McDaniel; now reside in Ruidoso, NM. Grandchildren she is also patiently waiting for in heaven are Hannah G Garcia, India R Tapia, Anjel Garcia-Mediola, Jose De Jesus Garcia- Mendiola. Her parents Manuel & Esperanza Garcia of Portales. Her sisters Gloria Garcia & Frank Huerta of Portales. Carmen Pena & Michael Pena of Portales. Rebecca Montoya & Mark Montoya of Portales. Cruz Garcia of Odessa TX. Brothers are Joe Garcia of Portales. Guadalupe & Rosa Garcia of Las Cruces, NM. She had numerous nieces and nephews she loved and adored.She loved and supported Crespin’s children and treated them as if they were her own. She is celebrating for eternity in heaven with her Life Partner Crespin Ornelas, SR, her sister Socorro Olivas, and her granddaughter Trinity Natalia Tapia. All who loved her, admired, and cherished her will lay her to rest. She will be missed immensely by all her family and her friends.
Deacon Roberto Herrera of St Helen’s Catholic Church in Portales will be officiating her graveside service that will take place at the Portales Cemetery on October 17th at 11:00 to celebrate her life and legacy.
