Santa Fe, New Mexico – Alexis Martinez Johnson, Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in New Mexico’s 3rd District (NM-03), has successfully filed to take on radical progressive Teresa Leger Fernandez and flip the seat red. Due to recent advantageous redistricting, NM-03 has expanded to include Hobbs, Artesia, and Alexis’s childhood home of Roswell. Alexis is fighting to represent all New Mexicans and combat rampant inflation.
“President Biden and Teresa Leger Fernandez’s policies are hurting our families and have led to almost double-digit inflation, stagnating wages, and the cost of everyday goods skyrocketing. This is not good for New Mexico families,” said Martinez Johnson. “My opponent doesn’t understand how radical progressive policies have hurt our families and drained our pocketbooks. As a mother, I understand the rising prices of everyday items, such as milk, eggs, and gas, hurt our families and keep New Mexico from prospering. I’m running to take back New Mexico’s 3rd District to fight back against Joe Biden’s radical policies that have made inflation skyrocket, gas prices go through the roof, and have cost us American lives overseas. We can do better for our families.”
