Armando and Felisha Baca of Carlsbad, welcomed their first born, Adeja Lee Monae Baca, on Sept. 6, 2004 in Clovis, NM.  God gave her to us for a short 19 years.  For the last twelve years, she lived in Hobbs, NM.  Adeja had a kind and caring heart.  She was smart, funny and wise beyond her years.  An old soul, an old beautiful soul.  She always knew what to say, and she always knew when to say nothing.  She had so many dreams and aspirations.  One thing about her that will always live on is her love.  She is love and light.

Adeja was the best big sister to Tres and Aziah both of Carlsbad.  She was the loving granddaughter to Fernando and Ruth Ann Lucero of Hobbs, Sylvia and Juan Ponce of Odessa and Armando Baca of Carlsbad, and great-grandfather Moises Tapia and great-grandmother, Leonela Baca both of Portales.  She was also the niece of Jacob Lucero of Hobbs, and Trina and Mitch Anderson of Houston.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Senada Tapia and great-grandfather, Isaias Baca.

Adeja was a very special person.  She will always be the light of our lives and the love in our hearts.
